A Paadal Petra Sthalam on a 30-metre hillock above the Uyyakondan channel in Tiruchirappalli, revered in the Tevaram by Appar, Sambandar and Sundarar. Built in the Sembian Chola age around 950 CE, it bears inscriptions of Rajaraja I and Kulothunga I and was occupied by French and English troops during the 1753–54 siege of Trichinopoly.
