An 18th-century atchala Shiva temple in Hooghly district housing a swayambhu linga, one of the busiest Shaiva pilgrimage sites in West Bengal, especially at Shivaratri and the Gajan festival.
Local legend says Raja Bharamalla Rao built the temple after a linga was discovered in the nearby jungle.
