Kaddukhal, Tehri, Uttarakhand · 30.4114°, 78.2887°
A Shakta pitha perched at about 2,756 m above Kaddukhal near Dhanaulti in the Garhwal Himalaya. It is counted among the seats where a part of the goddess Sati is believed to have fallen, and is reached by a steep walk from the road head.
After Sati immolated herself and Shiva carried her body in grief, Vishnu dismembered it and her head is said to have fallen on this peak.
