A medieval Krishna temple between Puri and Bhubaneswar, counted among the sixteen Krishna shrines traditionally ascribed to king Vajranabha; it is known for the Anla Navami festival and for offering wheat-based rather than rice prasada.
Krishna is said to have walked from Vrindavan to stand witness to a promise made to a poor young man, turning to stone when the youth looked back to check that the god was following.
