The Divya Desam of Thiruvaipadi (Aypadi) at Gokul on the Yamuna, regarded as the scene of Krishna's childhood among the cowherds and sung by several Alvars including Andal. The present small shrine is a modern replacement for an older temple lost to political upheavals.
Here Krishna is said to have danced upon the subdued serpent Kaliya in the Yamuna before the people of Gokul.
