A group of rock-cut temples in Kangra carved from a single sandstone ridge and left unfinished, one of the most ambitious monolithic projects in north India. The complex was cut with its spires and a sacred tank in front, following the prescriptions of the architectural texts.
Local legend has it that the Pandavas built the temple during their exile and abandoned it when their hiding place was discovered.
