History & significance

A gurdwara in the walled port of Lakhpat in Kutch, raised by descendants of the host who received Guru Nanak when he passed through on his fourth journey. It preserves his wooden footwear and palanquin along with Udasi manuscripts, and its restoration after the 2001 earthquake won a UNESCO Asia-Pacific award in 2004.
