A Divya Desam housing a colossal image of Vishnu as Trivikrama striding the worlds, its earliest inscription dated 846 CE under Pallava Nandivarman III with later Chola development. Uniquely, the complex shelters four separate Divya Desams within one precinct.
Here Vamana the dwarf is said to have grown into cosmic Trivikrama, measuring the three worlds in two strides and humbling the generous king Mahabali with the third.
