An 11th-century Kalinga temple in Bhubaneswar with an 18 m clustered spire and some of the finest figure sculpture in Odisha; its empty sanctum means it is kept as a monument rather than a working shrine, and its design influenced later central Indian temples.
Local belief derives the name from the Naga and Nagini figures at the entrance, read as a king and queen.
