The goddess-temple of the southern Cham realm above the Cai river mouth — a 23 m brick tower to Yan Po Nagar, mother of the kingdom, identified with Bhagavati. Uniquely, worship never stopped changing hands: Vietnamese devotees today honour the same image as the goddess Thien Y A Na, incense unbroken across the transfer of civilisations.
