A Shiva temple at Panjupettai in Kanchipuram district, one of the 275 Paadal Petra Sthalams of the 7th-century Saiva canon Tevaram. It is particularly associated with the saint-poet Sundarar, who sang of the shrine.
Two asuras named Onan and Kanthan are said to have found a lingam in the forest, become devotees of Shiva and built the temple, later joined by a third demon devotee, Jalandeeswaran.
