A Kali temple in south Delhi opposite Nehru Place whose oldest fabric dates from the Maratha period and which gives the surrounding neighbourhood its name. It fills with pilgrims at the twice-yearly Navaratri fairs.

Sthala katha — the legend

Legend holds that the goddess Kalika was born on the very spot where the temple stands.
