The shrine of Ashapura Mata, household deity of the Jadeja rulers and patron goddess of Kutch, first built in the 14th century by the ministers Ajo and Anagor and rebuilt in 1823 after the 1819 earthquake. Thousands come during Navaratri.
Soldiers of Mian Ghulam Shah Kalhoro are said to have been struck blind when they attacked the temple in 1762, and their ruler donated a great bell when their sight returned.
