A major Krishna pilgrimage temple in Kheda district, built between 1769 and 1772 by the Pune Brahmin Gopal Tambvekar, with four gold-capped shikharas and seven domes inside fort-like walls beside the Gomti lake. It is a leading centre of Pushtimarg Vaishnava worship in Gujarat.
Devotees hold that the image was miraculously carried from Dwarka to Dakor by the devotee Bodana in 1151.
