A group of four Shiva temples in Kabirdham district whose 11th-century stone temple is covered in figural and erotic sculpture, earning it the name 'the Khajuraho of Chhattisgarh'. Its brick shrine is far older, and the complex was added to between the 7th and 12th centuries.
Local lore says the Gond people of the area worshipped Shiva as Bhoramdeo, and that a Naga chief raised the temple.
